‘COCO’ Corinne Pruis
The Dutch contemporary artist Corinne Pruis was born in Zaandam and raised in Veenendaal. Coming from a family of artists, Corinne was exposed to the enchanting world of art at a young age.
After completing high school, Corinne pursued education to prepare for a career in the Dutch corporate world. However, guided by her adventurous spirit, Corinne chose an international path in the aviation industry. Moving to Dubai for her role with Emirates Airlines, Corinne traveled the world for a decade. Despite the globe-trotting, Corinne’s heart consistently gravitated towards painting. In 2021, she made the decision to turn her passion for painting into a full-time business.

The indigenous inhabitants of Canada, the Inuit, leave a profound impression on Corinne. Her first series of female portraits is, therefore, a tribute to the resilience, perseverance, and beauty of these Native American women.
